I love Daveys Hut, every time I go there I have fun experiences with brumbies. Using what little skill I have to creeping up as close as possible to them, to coming up over a rise and finding them right in front of you or getting a mate to push them past where you hide in wait to get them on the run. There is nothing like sitting out on the Daveys Hut veranda and looking out and seeing the brumbies off in the distance a truly Australian experience. May the brumby always have a managed presence in our high country.
