I was just taking my sister, her husband and kids to Davies Hut in the Kosciuszko National Park. I knew there where brumbies in this area but my mind set was not on trying to photograph anything, I had the camera more for shots of my sister and her family. Well it turned out to be one of the best brumby photography that I’ve done, the light was beautiful and capturing these beautiful brumbies just all fell into place. These particular brumbies ran down the ridge for me and then just run straight back up the way they came down. I didn’t have to move a muscle besides getting the camera out of my bag. Sometimes you just get really lucky, not as often as I would like though.
