This shot was taken at Gold Harbour on South Georgia, a sub Antarctic island. These beautiful King Penguins were among thousands just sunning themselves. In this shot I’m using a wide angle lens and I’m lying on the ground to try and tell the story of life on the beach for a King Penguin. There are steep cliffs all around this beach and an overhanging glacier that you can see at the far right of the shot. The Fur seals are not a problem for the King Penguins, they coexist quite happily.
