This was shot while I was spending 7 days at Wheelers Hut in the Kosciuszko National Park. I was taking a rest on the veranda when I noticed that this sparrow was landing on the hut at this exact spot fairly regularly. Figuring this was one of his sentinel spots, I got the camera out and only had to wait a couple of minutes before he landed back there again. I was really chuffed it all worked so easily, which is a very rare occurrence when trying to photograph animals.
